3 Learning Styles

Auditory Learners

Auditory people learn by listening.  They usually will not take notes while listing.

Some auditory learners concentrate better when they have music or white noise in the background, or retain new information better when they talk it out.

They will often repeat what you’ve said right back to you. It helps them process the information.

Experts say that about 30% of Americans are auditory learners.

Less than 5% of REALTORS® are Auditory Learners!

Kinesthetic learners

Kinesthetic learning is a learning style in which learning takes place by the student actually carrying out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or merely watching a demonstration.

10% of Americans are Kinesthetic Learners.  20-25% of REALTORS are Kinestetic Learners.

Visual Learners

Visual learners learn predominantly with their eyes. They prefer to see how to do things rather than just talk about them.

Since about 60% of Americans are visual learners

70-75% of REALTORS are visual learner

Your Mission is to create an atmosphere in which the student will learn!

Learning is directly proportional to the amount of fun you have

If you are having fun….they are having fun!

The purpose of a presentation is to leave the participant impressed with their own learning…. not to be intimidated or impressed by the instructor.

Adults bring experience to training.  Allow them to use it!

Help people learn how to learn.

Teach from a prepared life, as well as from prepared lessons.

Do it, and then teach it.

Change your delivery every 8 minutes!!

The goal of education is not information…it is action!

One picture is worth a thousand words

I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand

The leader of an orchestra…does not make a sound.  They make everyone else powerful and that makes the sound.
