Memory and versatility: There are a lot of great features to the KODAK Zi8 Pocket Video Camera. In addition to high quality video (720p resolution at up to 60fps) as well as 720p/30fps for uploading to YouTube or Facebook, you can also shoot at the WVGA setting to conserve storage space. Kodak also supplies HDMI and composite cables to plug your camera into a projector or a HD TV for playback. Oh, if you forget to turn it off, it will do it automatically.

Easy to share playback: One of the lacking features with videos produced by consumers is poor sound quality. Well, with this camera, you can purchase an external jack to enhance the sound quality. These microphones are inexpensive and readily available.

 

People notice: I was in an Apple Store getting a computer lesson the other day and pulled up a short video that I had shot on the Zi8. The computer expert immediately noticed the high quality of the playback, so I had to take out the camera and demo it! When people notice, you know you have the right equipment.

Once I shoot the property, I keep it in my video library for the next time I rent it!
